1. Sign up for eLearning by clicking here! …Or call PATRIOT SCUBA at 703-490-1175 and register for a class.  To register:
1. Come by and make your deposit, pick up your Student Materials (Crew PAK).
2. Get fitted for your rental gear.
1. Mask, fins and snorkel are items you’ll want for your very own.  Let PATRIOT help you choose the style and colors just for you!
3. Schedule your Classroom (unless you chose eLearning) confined and Open Water Dives.
2. Self Study!  Whether you chose eLearning or obtained your Crew PAK, now you read and learn the theoretical basis of what you will practice in the pool. 
1. Take the knowledge reviews at the end of each section.
2. Take the Final Exam.
3. Confined water sessions.  Learn and Practice those skills you will use in the open water.  These sessions are conducted in the pool or in a lake with “pool-like” conditions.  You will conduct 5 “Dives” in this section and have plenty of time to master those skills.
4. Open Water Dives.  Here you demonstrate you mastery of the skills you learned in the confined water sessions.  The water is deeper and you get a chance to explore between dives!  4 Total dives.
5. Now you are certified!
