Why do I need annual service on my gear if I only use it 1-2 times a year?Salt water and fresh water minerals can become trapped in little places which may cause corrosion. Back to TopMy gear hsa not been used in five years, does it need service?Yes, O-rings simply deteriorate over time and dry out. This is life support equipment so servicing is the best option.
